Burlington, Vt. – February 16, 2010 – Join the  fun during the Kitestorm 2010 , free riding, clinics and demos we have featured in the past. So far we have enthusiastic reps from HQ Kites, Slingshot, Ozone and Peter Lynn all lined up and ready to go with demos and goodies for lucky riders.
Organizers are featuring thier first Kitestorm Circuit Race brought to you by HQ (which means the winner cruises home with a Montana 9.5 snowkite with other great prizes going out as well). More details to follow but this event will be for the fastest of the fast to newer riders looking for a reasonable challenge and some personal satisfaction.  They promise something for all and a well-run competition, as always, with lots of prizes.
The Top Snowboarder in the Drag Race wins a Slingshot T3 7m package. Yes, you heard it! Get your board revved up to go fast over a short distance (or at least faster than the rider next to you) and you win a great kite for the big wind days. Top prize for fastest skier in the drag race to be determined.  Plus, lots of other prizes in this event.

Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 (or at the conclusion of the racing). 2/3: Clinics are now full but we are taking names for waiting lists. Typically, there is a chance of getting a clinic spot from the waiting list. It is also worth considering coming for a full lesson before the event which will make you eligible for the demos.
On-going Free Demos: HQ Kites, Slingshot, Peter Lynn and Ozone will have stations set up where you can learn about and have a ride their new lie up of kites. This is a rare and excellent opportunity to try a kite before you buy and compare the feel of a variety of different types of kites. All kites are sold by Stormboarding and you will receive a great Kitestorm discount if you decide to buy one (and then you will not have to share). Demos are first come, first served. Experienced riders only. You must have your own harness, wear a helmet and have registered (early or at the registration table ) to demo.
Stormboarding Kitestorm Shop: Need an ice screw, a harness or a kite? We will have limited stock and great advice right next to the registration table of everything from trainer kites to the big kites at great event pricing.

NEW: Pre-order a kite 7m or more to be picked up at the event and we will give you a free ice screw. Stock is limited at the event so this is a great opportunity to get event pricing, a guaranteed kite and a free ice screw ($50 value). Kites from HQ, Peter Lynn, Slingshot and Ozone. Call Rachael for options and pricing.
