Shoreham, Vt. – December 21, 2009 - The Ticonderoga Ferry was forced to close all day Friday and Saturday but the Ticonderoga Ferry operated Sunday without incident said Vermont Agency of Transportation’s John Zicconi. As a result, the ferry company is planning normal operations Monday along its regular schedule. “Of course, this is lake condition and weather dependent.” said Zicconi.

The Charlotte/Essex Ferry was forced to reduce operations briefly Sunday morning, Dec. 20, due to heavy wind-related swells on the open lake which also caused ice buildup on the boat decks.
